未来（will / be going to）

未来のことは will か be going to で表します。どちらも「〜するつもり・〜するだろう」と訳せますが、前から決めている予定には be going to がよく使われます。

基本の形

ポイント

• will ＋原形：「〜するだろう」「〜します」（予想・その場で決めたこと）。
• be going to ＋原形：「〜するつもり」（前から決めている予定）。
• 疑問文：Will を主語の前に出す。

例文

1. He is going to take pictures tomorrow.
   彼は明日写真を撮るつもりです。
   be going to ＋原形で「〜するつもり」。主語が He なので be動詞は is。
2. My sister is going to study English next week.
   私の姉は来週英語を勉強するつもりです。
   be going to ＋原形で「〜するつもり」。主語が My sister なので be動詞は is。
3. Will my sister write a letter this weekend?
   私の姉は今週末に手紙を書きますか？
   疑問文は Will を主語の前に出します。
4. You are going to study English next Sunday.
   あなたは今度の日曜日に英語を勉強するつもりです。
   be going to ＋原形で「〜するつもり」。主語が You なので be動詞は are。
5. We are going to swim in the sea tomorrow.
   私たちは明日海で泳ぐつもりです。
   be going to ＋原形で「〜するつもり」。主語が We なので be動詞は are。
6. She is going to cook dinner next Sunday.
   彼女は今度の日曜日に夕食を作るつもりです。
   be going to ＋原形で「〜するつもり」。主語が She なので be動詞は is。

よくある間違い

• ✕ He will plays tennis.
  ○ He will play tennis.
  will のあとは原形です。
• ✕ I going to study.
  ○ I am going to study.
  be going to の be動詞を忘れないようにしましょう。
• ✕ I will to go.
  ○ I will go.
  will のあとに to は入りません。

覚えるコツ

• 会話では I'll / you'll / it'll のような短縮形がよく使われます。
• 否定文は will not（won't）、be not going to です。
